Alginate oligosaccharides preparation, biological activities and their application in livestock and poultry

Alginate oligosaccharides (AOS), belonging to the class of functional marine oligosaccharides, are low-molecular polymers linked by ?-1,4-mannuronic acid (M) and ?-1,4-guluronic (G), which could be classically obtained enzymatic hydrolysis alginate. With low viscosity good water solubility, as well anti-oxidant, immune regulation, anti-bacterial anti-inflammatory activities, AOS have been widely used in medical science food, green agriculture other fields. As new bio-feed additives, broad potential applications animal husbandry.
